The launch of the UAPeriO NGO: a new phase in the development of periodontology in Ukraine.

September 25, 2025, marks a historic moment for the Ukrainian periodontology community. The leaders of two organizations—the Ukrainian Society of Periodontists and the Ukrainian Academy of Periodontology—held a founding meeting to establish a new organization: the Ukrainian Association of Periodontology and Osseointegration.
We are turning a new page in Ukrainian periodontology—one that is united, with a shared goal and vision, friendly, inspired, and passionate.

Ukrainians know how to come together when necessary, for the sake of a common goal. Now, unity is needed more than ever. Right now, our country is fighting for its freedom and independence, and is moving toward its rightful place in the European community of nations.
And alongside the country’s movement toward the European Union, Ukrainian periodontology is also moving toward full membership in the European Federation of Periodontology.

We face many tasks and many challenges. But we have a team, we have the support of the community, we have understanding and a vision for the future. And we will succeed. Congratulations to everyone on the establishment of the UAPeriO NGO.
