The UAPeriO Team at SEPA Barcelona 2025: Strengthening International Ties and New Opportunities for Ukraine

SEPA Barcelona 2025 got off to an extremely productive start for the UAPeriO founding team of Oksana Potupa and Marianna Ostafiychuk. The first day offered impressive scientific depth, substantive discussions, and professional exchange at the highest level. This year, the conference brought together over 7,000 specialists from around the world, reaffirming its status as one of the largest events in the field of periodontology and implantology.
Despite the small number of Ukrainian representatives, our presence was noticeable and significant. For UAPeriO, participation in SEPA is not only an opportunity to represent the Ukrainian professional community but also an important step in building new international relationships.
In her new role as a delegate to the EFP from the Ukrainian Association of Periodontology and Osseointegration, Oksana Potupa successfully negotiated a number of key issues that will open new prospects for cooperation, future joint projects, and the development of the field in Ukraine. These agreements will serve as the foundation for deeper integration of the Ukrainian periodontal community into the European professional environment.
SEPA Barcelona 2025 Wrap-Up: Days That Go Beyond the Profession
These days go far beyond the scope of periodontology and implantology. Here, we met old friends with whom time flies by, and got to know new colleagues whose energy and professionalism inspire us to move forward.
Barcelona gave us not only new knowledge, but also warmth, sincere conversations, bold ideas, and plans for the future. It was here that we were able to discuss and resolve important issues that will influence the development of our professional community.
Thank you, SEPA Barcelona, for this powerful energy.
We are moving forward—only forward.
